On Thanksgiving at 15:11 hours the company along with mutual aid was dispatched to the 100 block of Lilly Road for the reported house fire. West Caln PD arrived onscene with a working fire with fire showing on Side A, the incident was upgraded to the working fire upon transmission of this report.
Asst. 33 (Ream) arrived onscene confirming the report with Engine 33-1 arriving as the First Due Engine. Chief 35 requested 2 additional tankers on the box. The crew from Engine 33-1 made entry and put a knock on the fire with the other companies arriving and completing numerous tasks on the fire grounds which included a primary and secondary search, roof operations and RIT.
Chief 35 assumed the command with Asst. 33 taking the operations role and the fire was placed under control at 15:33 hours with the companies working. Chester County Fire Marshal's arrived onscene and completed the investigation.
Great teamwork with the companies onscene held the fire in the A/B Corner of the house, great job by all onscene today.
Companies cleared after an extensive overhaul operation at around 17:30 hours.
