Training never stops

On Monday evening the crews used our old pool area to practice long lines, using leader lines and hose packs to complete stretches to areas that would be past our normal attack lines carried on the apparatus. Stretching the leader line and then running the hose pack and additional lines off the gated wyes. Juniors also reviewed ladders, and outside activities that they can perform on the fire grounds. Crews also covered setting up our clapper valve for water supply operations as well as setting up for tanker drops. Crews ran several evolutions which included resetting the equipment and going through the processes each time. Great job by all who turned out for training tonight.
