Afternoon Car fire on Lafayette Rd

On Friday evening while the company was attending the event in Layton Park, the company was dispatched for a car fire in the 100 Block of Lafayette Rd. Crews responded and was advised by Safety 49 the PD had the fire knocked down. Engine 35 arrived and stretched a line to finish extinguishment and ensure the vehicle was out. Flings towing then removed the vehicle and the company cleared about 30 minutes later.
