Training - This time drafting

At our monthly meeting on Monday it was decided to hold an additional training that week on Wednesday's this will ensure we don't miss any opportunities to continue training. So to start this, tonight's training was one that needed to be done as it had been a long time since we drafted with the brush trucks. Having new members training on both the Tac and the Brush this was the perfect opportunity to do so.
Crews made a make shift dam in one of our local creeks for a short time to build enough water to draft from, this alone was good training for our members to construct this should we ever need to do this to support large fire ground operations.
Second the pump training for those training on the trucks was another good aspect as they get the hands on training to feel comfortable with operating these pieces of apparatus.
