On Wednesday March 26th the company travelled to the Coatesville VA hospital for a lesson on elevators. There the crew met with Firefighter Vaughn who organized the training with his shift. The crews were shown various types of elevators and ways to handle these types of emergencies when we are confronted with them. This type of training is invaluable to our members and the continued support from the VA members and the working relationship we have is truly what makes the fire service successful.

Then on Monday, 3 members travelled to the Public Safety Training Center for the "Can" Class, this class teaches the other outside the box type thinking for the pressurized water extinguisher that is carried on all of our apparatus. This class combined classroom and pratical sessions to put the ideas to the test.
