On Monday at 12:51 the company along with the Sadsburyville Fire Company were dispatched to the 100 Block of Cambridge Rd. The companies responded and found a controlled burn had escaped from it's initial location and spread to the wooded area adjacent to the burn pile. Crews worked on containing the 1/2 acre fire and then had to content with dead trees that were burning and needed to be felled to handle the fire.

Crews worked for about 2 hours containing and removing the burning trees prior to being released by command just prior to 15:00 hrs.
