Dear Residents and Visitors,
I want to welcome you to the official website of the Wagontown Fire Company. Our website contains valuable information about our department, our community, and our members. I hope you will take the time to explore the different areas and links.
The Wagontown Fire Company has the strength of 40 Volunteer Firefighters which serve a residential population of more than 10,000 citizens in West Caln and West Brandywine Townships. Our station provides services to a geographical area of over thirty-one square miles. That service area includes residential, commercial, and rural areas which are along the Route 340 corridor that connects Chester County to Lancaster County and the Route 82 corridor that connects us to Berks County.
Our Company provides the following services: fire suppression, vehicle rescue, hazardous materials mitigation, and water/ice rescue, and public fire safety education programs. Links to our fire safety page can be found on the home page.
We rely on contributions received during our fund drives, by holding fund raisers throught the year, and of course funding provided from the townships that make up our first due response area. All of these funding sources are needed to allow us to operate at the level the residents and visitors to our township have come to expect. We are very appreciative of the support we receive.
To accomplish our mission, we need your support and understanding of our operations. I hope that our website contributes to building an even better and stronger partnership with our community.
Please feel free to contact me at anytime.
Best wishes,
Michael A. Reber
Fire Chief
