Early on Monday morning at 04:41 hours the company along with mutual aid was dispatched to the 100 Block of Meadow view Lane for a reported house fire. Members responding to the scene and arriving at the firehouse could see the working house fire across the street from the station.

Engine 35 made the response and the engine crew mounted an aggressive attack working with the crew from Engine 76 and Ladder 41 quickly gaining control of the fire. Tanker 35 made the response and supplied Engine 35 while Engine 44-5 arrived and supplied Engine 76. As additional companies arrived they were assigned various tasks on the fire grounds and quickly placing the fire under control.

This house has been a staple of Christmas cheer for many years, and people come from a far to look at over the 32,000 lights the residents take time to put up every year.

And in true spirit this Friday the lights will be lit again from 6 pm to 8 pm with Santa making an appearance, with the help of the Wagontown Community the lights will be lit again.
