April 15, 2025

On Tuesday afternoon right around 2pm the company was dispatched for tree and wires down in the 400 block of Ash Rd. While responding the company was advised of a brush fire resulting in the wires coming down. Brush and Deputy 35 arrived with a 1/4 acre of brush involved with the live wires down. With the electricity still flowing, firefighting efforts were put on hold until PECO arrived and disconnected the power. Once the power was off, crews were then able to extinguish the now 1/2 acre fire and ensure there were no hazards remaining. The company cleared the scene an hour and a half later.
