Friday turned out to be busy for the Wagontown Fire Company with the company assisting the Twin Valley Fire Department on a large house and barn fire in the 100 Block of Isabella Rd in West Nantmeal Twp. Engine 35 made the response and was used in a long hose lay as a relay pumper, Engine 35 pumped two large diameter hose lines to the scene which was in the middle of the long lay down the driveway. Tanker 35 and Squad 35 were used in the tanker shuttle relaying water to the scene. Crews from the units reported to the scene and assisted in the suppression efforts until released early Saturday morning.
