Helicopter flight for fall victim

On Monday afternoon at 15:55 Hours the company was dispatched to assist EMS with a helicopter landing. The incident took place in the 800 Block of Telegraph Rd for a male who fell more than 30 feet. The subject was found by EMS outside of the barn in which he fell. EMS units requested the helicopter due to injuries sustained in the fall.

Engine and Chief 35 arrived and set up an Landing Zone for Pennstar 1 who was our helicopter for the incident. Once onscene the patient was transferred to their care and was flown to a local Trauma Center for care.

All Units cleared about 45 minutes later with the fire police opening Telegraph Rd.

Mutual Aid: Ambulance 144, Medic 93, Pennstar 1 and West Caln PD
