On Friday evening at 18:33 Hours the company was dispatched to relocate to the VA Fire Department while they assisted the Thorndale Fire Company on a house fire in the eastern part of Caln Township.

Then engine arrived a the VAFD and at 19:11 hours were added to the Building fire at Giant Foods in the 3400 Block of E. Lincoln Hwy. Engine 36 who was relocating to Thorndale arrived first and Engine 35 arrived 2nd with crews going interior to investigate.

Once inside members discovered a fryer had caught fire and the Ansul system had activated and extinguished the fire. There was a smoke condition inside so the assignment was held to units on the scene for ventilation.

Once crews had the ventilation in progress the incident was scaled back to 35 & 36 units releasing the balance to return or return to their relocate assignments.

Once cleared Engine 35 returned to Sta. 76 until released about 21:00 hours to return to Wagontown.
