On Saturday night at 19:03 Wagontown along with Ambulance 144 and Medic 93 were dispatched to the 500 Block of Rt. 340 in the area of Dove Dr. for an accident reported serious. As units responded they were advised it was a car vs. a horse. Deputy 35 and Ambulance 144 arrived and confirmed the report. Rescue and Engine along with the Chief then arrived and assisted with controlling the hazards.

Ems transported the driver of the car to a local trauma center and the company stood by until the vehicle and horse were removed from the scene. Fire Police directed traffic around the scene and the company returned just shortly after 20:00 hours.
